Jason Taylor: Healing is Aligning with Seasonal Rhythms & Other Ways of Knowing
Jason Taylor is a licensed acupuncturist, Eastern Medicine Practitioner, all around phenomenal healer and a delight of a human being. Before becoming a healer, Jason's journey begin as an ecologist and naturalist, he worked with Robin Wall Kimmerer on developing a traditional ecology knowledge section. We explore the many knows of knowing between the science paradigm and the traditional paradigm.
Jason explains how healing is aligning with seasonal rhythms and in his practice as an acupuncturist he is helping his patients to align with seasonal energies to find/restore balance. He shares how dreams are described in the classical Chinese texts from thousands of years ago, sharing some perspectives on dreams that he considers when clients share about dreams. We explore how for healers, dreams can serve as a powerful diagnostic tool and can help healers better serve the people we are helping.
